We do not make it a condition of sale that your system is maintained.
However there are a number of conditions & recommendations as
follows –
A NACOSS approved system must be the subject of a maintenance agreement
to retain its NACOSS approval.
Intruder alarms & Panic alarms that have police response are
required, under the ACPO
policy, to have two maintenance visits per
annum.
Fire alarms – the current British Standard, BS 5839 recommends,
that in addition to weekly tests by the user, a system is maintained
four times per annum.
CCTV Systems – conforming to BS 8418 with police response are
required to be maintained twice per annum. |
