Installing an audible security system will help address part of the
problem however an alarm no longer attracts the attention it once
commanded. The speed of response to a break-in
or similar incident can make the difference between preventing a
crime and being a victim of it.
Similarly the only way guaranteeing immediate
response to
a fire or medical alert is by investing in a service capable of
delivering that response. Although we use a number of different
monitoring stations our preferred supplier is Southern
Monitoring Services.
There are a number of options available as follows –
Land line Autodialler – this is a device that, when an alarm
is activated, calls with a pre programmed message up to four telephone
numbers. This is a low security level device with no monitoring costs.
Mobile Autodialler – this does all the above but over the mobile
phone network using the network of your choice.
Digital Communicator – also known as a ‘digi’.
This is an electronic device that is normally fitted inside your
alarm control panel. This sends a coded signal to an alarm receiving
centre (ARC); they have a list of pre agreed numbers to call – this
would normally be a local keyholder, the police or fire brigade.
RedCARE Classic – this provides a similar service as a digital
communicator but has the great benefit of ‘line monitoring’.
This means that should your telephone line be cut (intentionally
or by accident) an alert is sent to the monitoring station which
in turn will action the call appropriately.
RedCARE GSM – the ultimate in transmitting alarm signals. This
does everything RedCARE Classic does but in the event that your phone
line is cut signals are then transmitted over the GSM network. This
level of alarm transmission meets the most recent ACPO police requirement
and helps reduce false calls as a result of accidental damage to
phone lines. |
