Award Winners

Award winners Red Alert’s sister company Red Alert Telecare has only been around for just over two years, but it’s already earning itself a reputation as an award winner.

The new company, which works with a number of councils across London, the south east and beyond to install telecare equipment in the homes of elderly and vulnerable people, was named Most Promising New Business at the Kent Invicta Chamber awards.

Now the company is looking forward to the finals of the Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEiBA) in July to see if it can pick up another award.

“We have been told that we have made it into the top three in the Start Up Business of the Year category and we are keeping our fingers crossed for the right result,” said Managing Director Clive Gawler.

After collecting the Invicta Chamber award, sponsored by HSBC, Clive Gawler said he was “delighted that our efforts to help councils make life better for older and vulnerable people have been recognised in this way.

“This award recognises the way that Red Alert Telecare – like Red Alert - tailors its service to meet the varying needs that different customers have.

“Some councils just need us to install the equipment, while others rely on us to make appointments, hold stock, maintain their customer database and do everything except monitor the kit,” said Clive.
